Have you ever thought about submitting a proposal to the National Science Foundation (NSF) for your consortium? Did you know that they have a number of funding opportunities for "alliances" of institutions? ACL is hosting a two-part series of professional development events on this topic. The first will be this Coffee Chat with Dr. Carrie Hall, Lead Program Director for Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) at the NSF. She will walk us through the bits and pieces of proposals, some preparation best practices, and budget guidelines.
Part Two will be a formal presentation at the annual conference in Tulsa where Dr. Hall and her colleague, Dr. Chris Atchison, Program Director for Workplace Equity for Persons with Disabilities in STEM and STEM Education, will share collaborative opportunities for consortia.
